노인교육 시장분석을 위한 노인학습자 연구 = A Study on the Aged Learners to Analyze the Education Market for the Aged : Centering on the Pusan Metropolitan City

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 광역시 노인교육시장을 파악하기 위한 노인학습자 층의 사례분석 결과가 제시된다. 지역의 학습자 층을 분석하는 것은 다양한 학습자 층의 교육요구를 파악하고, 그들의 취향에 부합하는 프로그램마케팅을 하기 위한 준비 작업이라고 볼 수 있다. 1990년 이래로 학습자 층에 대한 새로운 분석기법으로 인구통계학적•사회경제적 분석을 넘어선<사회적 환경이론>에 기초한 분석방법이 독일의 성인교육학계에서 확산되어 왔다. 이 방법의 특징은 사회적 집단들의 차별성을 취향, 소비, 여가 등의 일상 생활태도와 문화적 요소를 포함한 이론적 틀로서 설명하는 것이다. 이러한 이론적 틀을 따를 경우 노인 학습자 그룹들을 사회적, 물질적 조건뿐만 아니라 생활양식의 차이에 따라 다양화된다고 추측할 수 있다. 사회적 환경이론에 의한 노인학습자 분석은 노인교육기관이 노인집단별 요구에 부응하는 프로그램개발 운영 및 마케팅 전략 개발에 도움이 될 수 있다.

This study presents the result of analyzing the aged learners to grasp the education market for the aged in the pusan metropolitan city. Analyzing the learners in the region can be seen as the basis for understanding the educational needs of various learners and for marketing the programs corresponding to their taste. New techniques to analyze the learners include an analysis based on the social environment theory beyond the demographical analysis and the socioeconomic analysis since 1990s throughout the social sciences in Germany. According to this technique, distinction among the social groups is described with the theoretical frames including the ordinary and cultural elements such as taste, consumption, and leisure. According to this theoretical frames, we cal figure out groups of aged learners are not only social and physical condition but also the difference of lifestyle can be variety. When the aged learners are understood with the social environment theory, it is helpful for the education institutes to provide programs and to develop marketing strategies complying with the needs of the aged groups.
