This study considered that characteristics of lead concentration levels and relations of the meteorological parameter(rainfall) and hard-coal consumptions from the data measured 4 air quality continuous monitoring stations during 5 years, from 1991 to 1995 in Kwangju area.
The lead concentration levels showed decreasing trend yearly. but lead levels have not significantly changed from 1993 on , when prohibited completely leaded gasoline consumptions.
The seasonal variation of lead concentration levels varied significantly that low in summer and high in winter. The parameters affecting lead concentration level were rainfall and hard-coal consumptions, including lead-free gasoline size.
