    This paper intends to examine what kinds of efforts were made by Korean law on environmental issues, and to make a brief report on its achievements.
    In chapter II Environmental Law System, the author examine the environmental clause of the Constitution, and also take a look at major laws related to this. Chapter III, Development of Environment Act and Environment Policy, examine historically review how the Environment Act of Korea developed.
    In short, by stipulating environmental rights in the Constitution, it was an opportunity to arouse the importance and value of the natural environment. Conducted movements to pass down such awareness from the government, companies, civic organizations down to each citizen. The positive outlook that worldwide environmental protection will save humanity from disaster.
