新羅 王權 연구의 몇 가지 前提 : 中古期 왕권과 신분제, 종교의 相互 관계

국문 초록 (Abstract)

王權에 대한 연구에서 관심이 집중되는 것은 국왕의 권력 행사를 떠받치는 국가의 여러 제도ㆍ조직이 서로 어떻게 얽혀서 작용하는가 하는 구조ㆍ기능상의 문제라고 할 수 있다. 이같은 관점에서 新羅史에서 귀족 중심의 중앙집권적 정치체제가 확립되고, 동시에 비약적인 영토 팽창이 이루어진 이른바 中古期(514∼654)를 대상으로 하여, (1)국왕의 권력을 제약하고 있던 王京의 强固한 6部제도는 어떻게 해체되어 갔는가, (2)6部제도에 대신하여 새로이 편성된 신분제도로서의 骨品제도 아래서 국왕과 眞骨귀족들과의 관계는 어떠했는가, (3)이 시기에 급속도로 국가종교로 융성한 발전을 하고 있던 불교는 어떻게 종교적 상징을 통해서 왕권을 神聖化했는가하는 몇가지 점을 검토해 보았다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Of course, many different historical approaches must be given in the historical analysis of Silla's kingship. However, the study of the kingship can never consist solely in the tracing of only one of many different aspects many previous accounts have derailed. Consequently, the questions posed by historians must include how the kingship could be operated fully because king's effective strength could be possible only through all every kingdom's institutional and organizational system smoothly converged and supported into kingship itself. And so, it was structural and organizational approaches that should be needed in this historical field.
From this point of view, I focus on the Silla's kingship building process during the 6-7th centuries, when Silla could found a political centralization system based on the nobility. Also, at those time, this kingdom could enlarge its territorial expansion rapidly.
