대학생들의 기업가정신이 창업의지에 미치는 영향: 4차산업혁명 기술이해의 매개효과를 중심으로 = The Effects of College Students' Entrepreneurship on Entrepreneurial Intention: Focusing on the Mediating Effect of Understanding 4th Industrial Revolution Technologies

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 대학생들의 기업가정신, 4차산업혁명 기술이해, 그리고 창업의지와의 관계를 대구·경북지역 대학생들을 대상으로 수집한 자료를 토대로 실증분석을 하였다.
기업가정신의 구성개념을 혁신성, 진취성, 위험감수성으로 정의하였다. 4차산업혁명 기술은 최근 가장 많이 인용되는 인공지능(AI), IoT, 빅데이터, 3D 프린트, 블록체인, 크라우드, 메타버스, 드론으로 정의하였다.
주요 연구분석 결과를 정리하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 기업가정신을 구성하고 있는 하위 개념인 혁신성, 진취성, 위험감수성 모두 창업의지에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 기업가정신을 구성하고 있는 하위 개념인 혁신성, 진취성, 위험감수성 가운데 혁신성과 위험감수성이 4차산업혁명 기술이해에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 4차산업혁명 기술이해는 창업의지에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 4차산업혁명 기술이해는 기업가정신을 구성하고 있는 하위 개념인 혁신성, 진취성, 위험감수성 가운데, 혁신성과 창업의지, 위험감수성과 창업의지 간에 부분매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났고 진취성과 창업의지 간에는 매개효과가 없는 것으로 나타났다.
본 연구의 시사점은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 창업의지에 미치는 영향요인에 관한 기존 연구와 달리, 기업가정신과 창업의지 간 관계에서 4차산업혁명 기술이해의 매개효과에 관한 새로운 연구모델을 제시하였다.
둘째, 기업가정신이 대학생의 창업의지에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다는 결과를 바탕으로 기업가정신 함양을 위한 교육프로그램 개발 필요성의 실증적 근거를 제시하였다.
셋째, 급변하는 기술환경에서, 대학생들이 적극적인 창업의지를 가질 수 있도록 4차산업혁명에 대한 인식과 4차산업혁명 기술에 대한 이해를 높일 수 있도록 교육프로그램을 구성해야 한다는 실무적 시사점을 제시하였다.
마지막으로, 4차산업혁명과 코로나19로 인해 불확실성이 증가한 시장환경에서, 대학생들이 적극적으로 창업의지를 다지고 실질적인 창업행동으로 이어질 수 있도록 정부, 지방자치단체 및 교육기관의 적극적인 정책수립이 이루어져야 할 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study conducted an empirical analysis of the relationship between college students' entrepreneurship, understanding of fourth industrial revolution technology, and entrepreneurial will based on data collected from college students in Daegu and Gyeongbuk.
The constituent concepts of entrepreneurship were defined as innovativeness, proactiveness, and risk-taking. This study used the fourth industrial revolution technology with artificial intelligence (AI), IoT, big data, 3D printing, blockchain, cloud, metaverse, and drones, most frequently cited recently.
The results are summarized as follows. First, innovativeness, proactiveness, and risk-taking positively affect entrepreneurial intention.
Second, innovativeness and risk-taking positively affect understanding of the fourth industrial revolution technology. Third, understanding the fourth industrial revolution technology positively affected entrepreneurial intention. Fourth, understanding the 4th Industrial Revolution technology mediates partially between innovativeness and entrepreneurial intention and between risk-taking and entrepreneurial intention. However, it has no mediating impact between proactiveness and entrepreneurial intention.
The implications of this study are as follows. First, unlike previous studies on the influencing factors on entrepreneurial intention, a new research model on the mediating effect of understanding the 4th Industrial Revolution technology in the relationship between entrepreneurship and the entrepreneurial intention was presented. Second, based on the results that entrepreneurship positively affects college students' entrepreneurial intention, empirical grounds for the need to develop educational programs to foster entrepreneurship were presented. Third, in a rapidly changing technological environment, practical implications were suggested. Education programs should be structured to increase awareness of and understanding of the 4th Industrial Revolution so that college students can have active entrepreneurial intentions. Lastly, in a market environment where uncertainty has increased due to the Fourth Industrial Revolution and COVID-19, the government, local governments, and educational institutions should actively establish policies so that college students can actively develop entrepreneurial intentions and lead to practical entrepreneurial behavior.
