교사의 자원과 대처전략 그리고 소진의 관계 = The Relationships between Resources and Coping Strategies in Teachers' Burnout

This study examined the relationships between resources factors(task variety, task autonomy, social support) and burnout outcomes, and the mediating roles of copying strategies in those relationships. The data was collected from 233 teachers in highschool. The data collection instrument for the burnout used Maslach Burnout Inventory. This study measured the mediating effects of copying strategies using the hierarchic regression approach. The results of this study are summarized as followings.
First, regressions showed that task variety related to the depersonalization and task autonomy related to the emotional exhaustion, but social support strongly related to all of the burnout outcomes. Second, all of the copying strategies(active and passive copying) related to the emotional exhaustion and task autonomy related to the all of the copying strategies. Third, the copying strategies almost didn't mediate on the relationships between the resources factors and the burnout outcomes.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구에서는 교사들이 업무수행과정에서 보유하고 있는 자원들과 그들이 취하는 대처전략 유형 그리고 소진결과 등의 관계에 대한 새로운 접근을 통하여, 이들 변수들의 영향관계를 파악하고자 시도되었다. 아울러 대처전략의 유형이 교사들의 보유자원과 소진 간 관계에 매개효과를 지니는지의 여부를 규명하고자 노력하였다. 연구 결과 교사들의 소진에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 자원은 사회적 지원 변수로 밝혀졌으며, 대처전략의 선정에 영향을 미치는 자원변수는 자율성으로 확인되었다. 자원과 대처전략 및 자원과 소진 간 관련성은 확인되었으나, 자원과 소진 간 대처전략 변수의 매개효과에 대한 일관된 결론을 찾아내는 것은 어려웠다. 본 연구를 통하여 사회적 지원에 따른 적극적 대처전략 선택, 그리고 적극적 대처에 따른 소진 감소를 확인할 수 있었다.
