The sensitivity of ISFET glucose sensor has been improved by employing amperometric method. However, this method takes long time to recover the initial stage output voltage after measurement because of slow migration of hydrogen ion between internal and external membrane. Consequently such a problem of recovery-time delaying is one of obstacles to a practical use. In this paper, a new method is proposed to control the concentration of hydrogen ion in internal membrane. in which biased a reduction potential to the working electrode for supplying hydroxide ion. The recovery time of FET-type glucose sensor and its characteristics are investigated by using that method. The time of biasing reduction potential for improve the recovers characteristics was set to the time that response was same to initial value. The recovery time is reduced within 2 minutes compare to decade minutes of comentional methods. The recovery characteristic is depended on buffer concentration and the function of enzyme membrane is no loss as biasing potential.
