The purpose of this current study is, based on a literature review on prior studies, to explore how the introduction of information technologies impacts public organizations in terms of organizational structure, management process, and individual behaviors of organizational members. Collectively it will show how the impacts lead to the change in organizational effectiveness. To achieve this purpose, the current study presents a research framework and explores the significance of the information technology in terms of organizational management. The causal variable of current study is the introduction of information technologies to the organization. The intervening variables of this study, which include organizational structure, management process, and individual behaviors of organizational members, explain how the introduction of information technologies affects changes in organizational effectiveness.
