영성개발과 교회성장 : 마 28장 16-20을 중심으로 = Spirituality Development and Church growth

Though the risen Jesus Christ's the Great Commission was known as the Mission Mandate, this is God's plan for the growth and prospering of local churches as well as spiritual development of Christians. From this new perspective, seilluminating this Mandate has an important meaning for contemporary church ministers and members.
When our ministry has the fitting biblical basis, we can apply it to our context of ministry and do rightly our ministry with the conviction that like the early church remarkable church growth and spiritual development can be accomplished.
Even though a spirituality theologian, Dallas Willard suggested that Jesus' the Great Commission is God's plan for the growth and prospering of local churches as well as spiritual fornation in the local congregation, it seemed that he did not present sufficient anakyses and applications of the content. Considering this point, this paper reexamines five elements, that is, worship, practice of love, fellowship, nurture, evangelism, and deals with the right understandings and applications.
Among the five elements, the basic core elements can be practice of love, fellowship and nurture. These three elements should be done through the larger circle of worship and ultimately reached to the stage of sound worship. In the process of doing these elements, church members can be mature disciples of Jesus Christ. Accordingly, they can bear fruits of evangelism and the ministry of making disciples can be achieved continually until the coming og the Lord.
Rick Warren extracted two elements of worship and practice of love from the Great Commandment (Mt. 22:36-40) and the other elements of fellowship, nurture and practice of love from the Great Commission(Mt. 28:19-20). Thus he combined them. However, this paper shows that all these five elements are in the Great Commission (Mt. 28:16-20). So it is an important conclusion of this paper that these five elements are the essential ones for the spiritual development of Christians and church growth have an indispensible relationship to each other. When the spiritual development of a Christian can be properly achieved, the true church growth can be possible and the ministry of making disciples of all nations can be occurred continually.
According to the master plan of the Lord for the spiritual development of Christians and church growth, the apostles of Jesus and the early Christians worked effectively. The history of the Book of Acts proves this concretely. Also it is amazing things that the texts of Acts 2:40-47 which describe the characteristics of the Jerusalem church show these five elements.
In conclusion, today's Christians and church ministers should remember that the Lord as the head of His church requires this ministry from us. Thus contemporary Christians and church ministers should become ones who work according to the Lord's plan and witness the work of the blessings of Immanuel, that is, being with us always to the very end of the age.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

부활하신 예수 그리스도의 마지막 지상명령(the Great Commission)은 일반적으로 선교명령(Mission Mandate)으로만 알려져 왔지만 이것은 오고 오는 모든 시대의 구속함을 받은 주의 백성들을 향하여 주신 영성개발과 교회성장의 헌장이요 이를 위한 명령의 말씀이기도 하다. 이러한 새로운 관점에서 이 명령을 새롭게 재조명해 보는 것은 오늘 이 시대의 교회 사역자들과 구성원들 모두에게 중요한 의미를 가진다고 볼 수 있다. 왜냐하면 올바른 성경적인 근거를 발견하여 그 근거 위에서 우라의 사역이 이루어진다고 할 때 초대교회와 같은 놀라운 영성개발과 교회성장이 이루어질 수 있다는 분명한 확신을 가지고 흔들림이 없이 사역에 적용해 나갈 수 있기 때문이다.
이 시대의 영성신학자로 널리 영향을 끼치고 있는 달라스 윌라드(Dallas Willard)는 예수님의 지상명령이 영성개발과 교회성장을 위한 하나님의 계획이라는 새로운 관점을 제시하였지마는 그 내용에 대한 정확한 분석과 적용에 있어서는 미흡함을 드러내였다고 볼 수 있다. 본고에서는 이 점을 염두에 두면서 5가지 종합적인 요소들(예배, 사랑, 교제, 양육, 전도)을 검토하고 그 정확한 이해와 적용을 중점적으로 다루게 되어진 것이다.
이상의 5가지 요소들 중에 사랑과 교제와 양육의 3가지 요소들은 성숙한 제자를 삼는데 기본적인 핵심요소로 볼 수 있을 것이다. 이 3가지 요소들은 예배라고 하는 큰 틀안에서 시행되어져야 하며 궁극적으로 온전한 예배의 단계에 이를 수 있어야 한다. 이런 일련의 과정들을 거치는 가운데 성순한 예수 그리스도의 제자가 되어지며, 이 제자는 그 삶과 사역을 통하여 전도의 열매를 맺게 되어지므로 제자삼는 사역은 주님 오실 때까지 계속 진행이 되어지는 것이다.
릭 워렌(Rick Warren)은 교회의 5가지 목적을 대계명(마 22:36-40)에서 예배와 사랑의 실천의 두 요소를 이끌어 내었으며, 대사명(마 28:19-20)에서 교제와 양육과 전도의 나머지 3요소들을 이끌어 내므로 두 본문의 내용을 요약을 한 것이다. 그러나 본고에서는 이 5가지 요소들이 모두 대사명(마 28:16-20)의 본문에 이미 내포되어 있음을 밝히게 되어진 것이다. 그러므로 릭 워렌이 언급하고 있는 5가지 요소들은 교회와 그리스도인들의 목적인 동시에 그리스도인의 영성개발과 교회성장을 위한 필수 요소가 되어진다는 것이 본고의 중요한 결론이 되어질 것이다. 이와 동시에 영성개발과 교회성장은 불가분리의 밀접한 관계를 가지고 있으며, 그리스도인 개인의 영성개발이 제대로 이루어질 때 진정한 의미에 있어서 참된 교회성장이 가능하게 되어지며, 모든 족속으로 제자삼는 선교의 역사가 지속적으로 일어나게 되어진다는 것이 가장 중요한 결론이 되어진다.
이상과 같이, 마 28장 16-20절의 내용이 보여주는 영성개발과 교회성장을 위한 주님의 마스터플랜을 따라 가장 효과적으로 사역한 주님의 제자들이 바로 사도들과 초대교회성도들이었다는 사실을 사실행전의 역사가 구체적으로 증거해 주고 있다. 놀라운 것은 오순절 성령강림의 결과로 이루어진 예루살렘 교회의 특징을 묘사하고 있는 행 2:40-47에서 이미 이 5가지 요소들이 빠짐없이 나타나 있음을 보여주고 있다.
결론적으로, 이러한 사역을 교회의 머리되신 주님께서 오늘날의 그리스도인들과 교회에 요구하고 계심을 기억하면서, 주님의 계획을 따라 사역에 임하므로 주님의 약속 그대로 세상 끝날까지 항상 함께 해주시는 임마누엘의 축복의 역사를 체험하고 간증할 수 있는 오늘날의 교회사역자들과 그리스도인들이 되어질 수 있어야 할 것이다.
