유아 다중지능에 대한 부모평가 척도의 타당화 연구 = A Validation Study of a Korean Children`s Multiple Intelligence(MI) Assessment Scale for Parent

The purpose of this study was to investigate the validity of Korean Kindergarten Version of Multiple Intelligence Developmental Assessment Scale(KK-MIDAS). The research questions of this study were as follows : 1. How were the validity and reliability of KK-MIDAS(Korean Kindergarten Version of Multiple Intelligence Developmental Assessment Scale)? 2. What was the relationship between MI and Wechsler’s traditional IQ? 3. What was the relationship between MI and emotional intelligence? The subjects were 106 preschool children. Three measurement instruments were used in the study. First, MI, KK-MIDAS : revised version of MIDAS developed by Shearer(1996) was used. Second, for measuring emotional intelligence, EIRSPC(Emotional Intelligence Rating Scale for Preschool Children) developed by Kyoung-Hoe Kim(1998), was used. Third, for IQ test, KEDI-WISC was used. The results of this study were as follows : 1. Cronbach’s a coefficients of the each factors had high level of reliabilities ranging from .78 to .89. Validity was also confirmed satisfactory through exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis. 2. Linguistic intelligence, logical-mathematical and intrapersonal intelligence of MI showed significant positive correlation with IQ, measured by KEDIWISC. 3. Interpersonal intelligence of MI showed positive correlation with subconstructs of El such as ‘Appraisal and Expression of Self Emotion’ and ‘Relationship Between Teacher’.
