코로나19 위험지각이 항공사 객실승무원의 안전행동에 미치는 효과: 직무불안정성의 조절효과 = The impact of COVID-19 risk perception on flight attendants’ safety behaviors: moderating role of job insecurity

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구는 항공사 객실승무원을 대상으로 코로나19가 발생한 초기부터 2년이 지난 현재 시점까지 위험지각에 대한 변화가 이루어졌는지 인지적 위험지각과 정서적 위험지각으로 분류하여 시간에 따른 변화를 분석하였다. 특히 코로나19에 대한 두 가지유형의 위험지각 중 안전행동에 미치는 중요한 영향 요인을 밝혀내는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 또한 코로나19 발생 이후 항공사객실승무원의 직무불안정성의 지각 수준에 따라 코로나19 위험지각이 안전행동을 수행하는데 차이가 존재하는지 파악하고자하였다. 실증 조사를 위해, 현직 항공사 객실승무원을 대상으로 설문지를 배포하여 총 296부의 자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 구조방정식모형분석과 다중집단분석을 통해 분석되었다. 이 연구의 자료를 분석한 결과, 항공사 객실승무원이 지각하는 코로나19에 대한 인지적 위험지각과 정서적 위험지각은 시간이 경과함에 따라 대부분 유의한 차이를 나타냈다. 또한, 코로나19로인한 위험지각 중 인지적 위험은 객실승무원의 안전행동에 직접적으로 영향을 미치는 요소가 되지 않았으나, 정서적 위험지각이 높아질수록 객실승무원은 안전행동을 적극적으로 수행하는 것으로 나타났다. 직무불안정성을 낮게 지각하는 객실 승무원의경우, 코로나19 인지적 위험지각에 의해 안전행동이 보다 강하게 촉진되었으나, 코로나19의 정서적 위험지각은 직무불안정성과 관계없이 모두 적극적인 안전행동을 촉진 시키는 요인으로 나타났다. 이 연구의 결과를 토대로 코로나19 발생과 같은 위기상황에서 항공산업에 종사하는 객실승무원의 인적자원관리 방안이 제시되었다.
