스칸디나비아 3개국 및 동아시아 3개국의 정부신뢰 영향요인 비교 = Trust in Government and Its Impact Factors in Three Scandinavian Countries and Three East Asian Nations

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 시민의 정치태도와 정부신뢰의 관계가 정치체제 내에서 시민과 제도 간의 상호관계의 특징을 반영하고 있는지를 살펴본다. 그 과정에서 국가 간의 일반적인 정부신뢰 영향요인을 연구해온 기존 연구를 점검하는 한편, 국가 간의 차별성이 있는지를 연구한다. 본 연구는 덴마크, 핀란드, 스웨덴 등 스칸디나비아 3국과 한국, 중국, 일본 등 동아시아 3개국 시민의 정부신뢰 영향요인을 비교함으로써 정부신뢰 요인의 국가 간 공통점과 각국의 정치문화와 정치체제의 특성을 이해하려는 것이다. 본 연구 결과 스칸디나비아 3개국과 동아시아 3개국 등 6개 국가에서 공통적으로 정당정책선호, 외부정치효능감, 정치인정책선호, 일반신뢰, 사적신뢰 등이 정부신뢰에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고 있음을 확인하였다. 이러한 결과는 정부신뢰에 영향을 미치는 일반적인 요인을 밝히고 있는 기존연구 결과와 같다. 반면 정부신뢰에 스칸디나비아 3국과 동아시아 3국간에 확연히 차이를 보이는 요인이 있다는 것도 밝혔다. 또한 정부신뢰에 영향을 미치는 요인은 국가별로 특수한 경우에 따라 나타난다는 점도 규명하였다. 이러한 결과는 지금까지 정부신뢰에 어떤 요인이 영향을 미치는가에 대해서 한 국가의 특성을 살펴보기보다는 대부분의 국가에 일반적인 요인이 무엇인가에 대해 연구를 하여온 기존 연구의 방향과 더불어 국가별 특성도 고려되어야 할 필요가 있다는 것을 보여준다.
