王文璧(왕문벽)《中州音韻(중주음운)》의 정체성에 대한 혼동 문제 고찰

This study purposed to analyze identity confusion related to the book name. sound system and author of Wang Wenbi`s Zhongzhou-Yinyun and to suggest objective and rational evaluation through the review of various related literatures and materials. First, confusion in book name appeared in the forms of confusion with Zhou Deqing`s Zhongyuan-Yinyun and confusion with Zhuo Congzhfs Zhongzhou-Yuefu-Yinyun -Leibian. Second. confusion in sound system caused an error in research method that tried to analyze the northern sound system of the Yuan dynasty with Zhongzhou-Yinyun`s phonetic notation system containing the elements of the southern sound system. Third. confusion in author appeared in the form of confusion with Zhou Deqing or Zhuo Congzhi. In the results of previous studies, some discussions on confusion in the identity of Zhongzhou-Yinyun were caused by the absence of clear distinction of identity from Zhongyuan-Yinyun and Zhongzhou-Yuefu-Yinyun-Leibian Ian. With regard to the clear definition of boundary among the three rhyme dictionaries, a conclusion agreed upon among scholars has already been drawn. For identity confusion issues caused by some results of previous studies, however, discernment is required for adoption or rejection in an objective and rational perspective.
