헤어미용 재교육 개선에 관한 연구 = A Study on the Improvement of Hair Beauty Re-education

The beauty industry in Korea is also required sensitivity, diversity, creativity and individuality. The systematic re-education of hairbeauty is reviewed here and the research covers the job characteristics of hair beauty professions, the study on the effects of satisfaction of work conditions and the employee turnover rate on the re-education to check up on the current situation of the re-education and to vitalize the condition. The results of the research can be summarized as follows. First, hair beauty professions are females in their 20’s with high school diplomas in general, however, in comparison with the recent researches more and more college graduates are gradually increasing. Second, as the current re-education conditions, most of hair beauty design institutes are running privately and there is a need of the re-education for the application of current trend and regular re-education is also much needed. Third, the improvement and development ways of the re-education are found as below. Due to the high demands of working hours, the professions are willing to have the re-education at their working places as for their shortage of time. The research also found that the re-education of the professions could support their work performances, the advancement and the relationship between customers. In conclusion, the higher the competence, self-esteem and with a variety of skills and expertise, the more professions feel the necessity of re-education which lower the turnover rate with the job satisfaction. Such findings will support to provide a better work environment for the hair beauty professions and the hair beauty industry will also be invigorated.
