This study investigate the changes in interpersonal relationship according to the liberal arts dance courses at college reflecting the totality of dance. By presenting empirical data on college liberal arts dance courses and interpersonal relationship, this study aims to develop liberal arts dance courses, provide basic materials of the courses, and further contribute to the revitalization of college liberal arts dance courses. For this study, 200 students were selected, who were taking liberal arts dance courses at K. University located in Seoul. A preliminary survey was carried out on the subjects, 16-session liberal arts dance courses were carried out, and changes in their interpersonal relationship were measured through a post-test. As a result of a comparison of mean of changes of the sub-factors in pre-to-post interpersonal relationship at the level of descriptive statistics and a paired samples t-test, the following conclusions could be drawn. First, as a result of an inquiry into changes in each sub-factor of interpersonal relationship according to participation in college liberal arts dance courses, the sub-factors improved in the order of cognitive factor, emotional factor and behavioral factor. Second, as a result of a comparison of interpersonal relationship according to each characteristic of liberal arts dance courses through pre- and post-testing, their interpersonal relationship improved in the order of practice class and theory class. Regarding the changes of the sub-factors of their interpersonal relationship by more concrete characteristics of liberal arts dance courses, the mean scores of the sub-factors in pre-to-post interpersonal relationship improved in the following order: Ballet & Science > Appreciation of Dance Masterpiece > Expression by Body > Reading Culture through Dance > Amusing of Performing Arts.
