힐링을 위한 문학교육2 -인간, 힐링, 그리고 문학교육 : 노년 세대의 문학이 가지는 치유의 기능 = Healing Effects of Literature for the Older Generation

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This paper is the study of the therapeutic effects of poetry on the older generation. This study focused on the two cases; the one was the aged who had recently completed a literacy program in lifelong education, and the other was a professional poet who had suffered from a serious illness. The aged got stated wrote poems, they was unskilled but incorporated personal experience into their works. The poems have notable some features; taking out painful memories, shifting to positive psychological states, and enjoying their writing by making use of literary devices. Famous poet Kim Gwang Seop had suffered a cerebral hemorrhage in 1965, but he continued to write poems till he died. In his later poems, Kim’s mind has changed from despair to acceptance, and his creating poems helped promote a state of recovery with the body. Although there is a great difference between the aged amateur poets`` works and the professional poet``s poems, but their poems have some features in common, which were acceptance or taking out, consolation and happiness, relaxed state and philosophical view of life. The features could be the typical aspects in enjoying literature by the old age and healing by poetry therapy.
