Because of opening era of WTO and DDA, the openness and internationalization of agriculture is the worldwide trends. From this fact, because farm management farmer can only inspire the business mind with competitiveness, scientific management and objectiveness of agricaultural business can be achieved by only agricultural training to overcome it,
Thus, in order to analyze agricultural training and farm management effectiveness after agricultural training to farm management farmers, we investigate 2001' and 2002' inquiry for 81 farm management farmers after Agricultural Training Center at National Institute of Professional Administration in Ministry of Government Admistration and Home Affairs explains as follows:
1. Investigation and analysis of effectiveness of agricultural training
1) About the training period, 79% (64 farmers) answered that current training period (3 days) is reasonal and 10% (8 fanners) answered, it's too short. It means that farm management farmers have problem to extend the training period from 3 days to more because of characteristics of agriculture.
2) About thinking of the current training course, 72% (58 fanners) answered to be satisfied. It means that agricultural training is needed fro farm management, and the training for informatization and pro-environmental agriculture is need to be extended.
3) About the contents of training, 60% (49 farmers) answered to be satisfied, but 35% (28 farmers) answered that some curriculum should be substituted with field study and occasional study.
4) About the curriculum, 42% (34 farmers) answered that they are satisfied with current curriculum, 28% (23 farmers) asked for appending the new curriculum, for example, internet, computer and agricultural accounting. It means that they want to study the subject related to agricultural informatization and unified shopping mall.
5) About the motivation of attending the training, 70% (57 farmers) answered 'volunteerily ', 9% (7 fanners) 'introduction from relative or friends' and '16% (13 farmers) 'introduction from agricultural technical center at city or regional ministry.
6) About the participation of next training, most of farm management farmer want to participate the training for agricultural improvement, and about the most favorable training part, training for environment friendly agriculture is 41% (32 fanners) and training for agricultural marketing 29% (23 farmers).
2. Investigation and Analysis of farm management effectiveness
1) About understanding on training, 45% (37 farmers) answered that they achieved more information than they expect and 51% (41 farmers) answer 'so so'. It means that most of farm management farmers got a lot of information for farm management from the agricultural training.
2) About the effectiveness of training, 71% (54 farmers) answered 'it's effective on management of farm management' and 7% (5 farmers) answered ' it is not effective'.
3) About the improvement after training, 25% (10 farmers) answered below 10% improvement at agricultural profit, 22% (9 farmers) said 11%-20%, 18% (7 farmers) said 21%-30%, 20% (8 farmers) said 31%-50% and 15% (6 farmers) said over 50% improvement. It means that most of farm management farmers observed improvement of agricultural profit after training.
4) Among 81 farm management farmers, 57% (46 fanners)
answered that they are writing the agricultural management note but 43% (35 farmers) answered that they are not.
3. The way for improvement of agricultural training for farm management farmer
For the successful farm management in the openness and globalized agricultural environmental change, the training of professional farmer is essential and the training which the needer can be satisfied is needed through active new thinking.
First, training for environment friendly agriculture should be activated.
Second, training for agricultural marketing should be enforced.
Third, training for informatization should be enforced.
4. The way for improvement of farm management for farm management farmer
In order to carry out effective farm management, there are various methods from a plan for farm to selling, but it is necessary to analyze the problem step by step with a mind to manage the business corporation and to maximize the ability to use factors, such as technique, information and social and economical environment. And finally it is necessary to carry out the reasonable farm management.
First, farm management farmer should have deep interest and participate in the agricultural program from the training center because farm training is needed for good farm management.
Second, the necessity for agricultural training should be considered to farm management farmer because improvement of farm managing and agricultural income can be achieved by agricultural training.
Third, the agricultural management note should be written for the scientific and reasonable farm management because agricultural management note is essential for improvement of farm management ability and farm management innovation.
