국문 초록 (Abstract)

그리스도교 영성 안에서 영적식별의 문제는 그리스도교 초창기부터 찾아볼 수 있다. 성경과 여러 전통들을 통해 전수된 영적식별에 대한 내용들은 영신수련에서도 적극 받아들였고, 이것들은 영신수련의 규칙서 안에 구체적으로 명시되었다.
이냐시오 영신수련의 영적식별, 특히 악한 영에 대한 식별들에 대한 내용들을 크게 나열하면, 실제가 아닌 관념에서 이루어지며, 이는 왜곡이란 방식으로 이루어지고, 이런 움직임들의 바탕은 자기애에서 비롯된 것으로 살펴볼 수 있다. 이러한 영에 대한 움직임을 살펴보는 것이 영적 식별이다.
영적 식별에 있어 중요한 것은 자기 내면의 두 영, 선한 영과 악한 영이 내면에서 어떻게 움직이고 있는 것을 살펴보는 것이다. 하지만 이는 너무 막연한 느낌이거나 사람에 따라, 환경에 따라, 여러 영향을 받기 때문에 정확하게 식별하는 것이 쉽지 않다. 따라서 이러한 식별은 숙련된 영적 동반자가 필요한 작업이다.
하지만 사람의 입장에서 내면의 영의 움직임을 살펴보는 것이 아니라 반대로 영의 입장에서 사람의 내면을 움직이려는 것은 어떨까? 루이스의 󰡔스크루테이프의 편지󰡕에서는 고위악마가 조카 악마에게 인간의 영을 유혹하는 전략에 대해 조언하는 편지를 모아놓은 글이다.
루이스는 영국의 작가로 본래 믿음에 대해 회의적인 사람이었으나, 사건을 거치며 회심하여 그리스도인으로 돌아온 인물이다. 옥스퍼드와 케임브리지 대학교수를 역임한 그는 자신의 믿음을 긍정할 뿐만 아니라, 믿지 않는 사람들, 혹은 믿더라도 편협한 시각을 가진 이들을 위해 여러 저서들과 강연, 글들을 남겼다. 그리스도교 변증론자로 불리기도 했던 루이스는 학적인 글만 아니라 󰡔나니아 연대기󰡕같은 이야기도 남기기도 했다.
다양한 분야의 글을 다루며 깊이 있는 내용을 써내려간 그가 특별하게 여기기도 했던 작품 󰡔스크루테이프의 편지󰡕는 어떤 인간에 대해 유혹을 하려는 악마의 이야기를 다룬다. 하지만 그 내용을 살펴보면 유혹되는 인간이 아닌 구원되어가는 인간의 이야기를 다루는 역설적인 모습을 발견하게 된다.
악마는 오랜 세월 노하우가 쌓인, 치밀하고 알아차리기 힘든 계략을 가지고 인간에게 접근한다. 이런 치명적인 유혹과 전쟁이라는 힘든 상황 속에서 어떻게 인간의 영혼이 하느님을 향해 구원되어가는지를 우리는 이 책을 통해 볼 수 있다.
책은 31편의 편지글로 이루어져 있으며, 따로 설계된 줄거리나 친절한 차례가 없다. 그렇기에 본고에서는 그리스도교 영성의 진보의 중요한 표지인 ‘회심’이라는 사건들을 중심으로 초보자, 진보자, 완성자로 나누는 단계를 분석에 적용하고자 한다.
하지만 책에는 인간의 영혼이 뚜렷이 진보하는 것을 확인하기 어렵기에 첫 번째 회심, 두 번째 회심, 세 번째 회심으로 편지들을 분류하여 전체적인 줄거리를 파악할 것이다. 그리고 이어서 앞서 살펴본 전통적인 그리스도교 영적 식별의 주요 내용인 관념, 왜곡, 자기애를 바탕으로 책의 내용을 분석할 것이다.
이 연구는 그리스도인의 신앙의 증진을 위해, 전통적 영성의 내용과 현대적 작품의 연결을 도모함으로, 보다 풍요롭고 깊이 있는 독서를 돕고자 한다. 그렇게 좋은 독서를 통하여, 보다 하느님의 뜻을 깊이 묵상하고 식별하고 헤아릴 계기를 마련하는 것이다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

We can find the problem of spiritual discrimination in the spirituality of Christianity from the beginning. The Bible and the contents of spiritual identification, passed on through various traditions, were strongly accepted by the Spiritual Training Institute, and these were specifically specified in the Rules of the Spiritual Training Center.
The spiritual discernment, particularly the identification of evil spirits, is made from not real ideas, which are shaped by distortions, and the basis of these movements is based on self-interest. It is a spiritual discernment to look at the movements of these spirits.
What is important in spiritual discernment is to look at how the two spirits, the good spirits and the evil spirits inside, are moving. However, it is not easy to identify accurately, either because it feels too vague or because it is influenced by people, by the environment. Therefore, this discernment is a task that requires a skilled spiritual leader.
But why don't you try to move the inner part of a person from the spirit's position, instead of looking at the inner movement? Louis's “Screwtape’s Letters” is a collection of letters advising the high-ranking devil of his strategy to attract human spirits to his nephew.
Louis was a British writer who was skeptical of beliefs, but he went through an incident and returned to Christ. As Oxford and Cambridge University professors, he not only confirmed his faith, but also left books, lectures, and writings for those who do not believe, or believe in, narrow-minded. Lewis, who was also called a "Christian dialectist," left not only academic writings but also stories of the Chronicles of Narnia.
Louis special work, "The Letter," tells the story of a devil trying to seduce someone. But if you look at it, you will find a paradox that deals with the story of a person being saved, not a man being seduced.
The devil approaches man with a dense, elusive plot that is full of know-how for many years. We can see in this book how the human soul is saved to God in this difficult situation of lethal temptation and war.
The book is composed of 31 letters, and there are no separately designed plots or kindly index. Therefore, the main school aims to apply the steps divided by beginners, liberators, and finalists to the analysis, focusing on the events of 'consideration', an important sign of progress in the spirituality of Christianity.
But the book will identify the whole story by classifying the letters into the first, the second and the third because it is difficult to see the human soul clearly advancing. And then we will analyze the contents of the book based on the main content of traditional Christian spiritual identification that we examined earlier, based on ideas, distortions and self-interest.
This study seeks to help enrich and deepen reading by promoting the faith of the Christian people by linking traditional spiritual content with modern works. Through such a good reading, it is to have a deeper sense of God's will, identify and understand.
