Objectives: This study was designed to examine the effect of stress management program on the stress in the army soldiers.
Methods: This study used an non-equivalent control group pre-post design. The subjects consisted of 30 army soldiers. The experimental group(n=23) participated in cognitive-behavioral therapy and relaxation training program that consist of 8 session. The control group(n=17) participated in relaxation training program. For both group the scores of stress were measured before and after experiment. The data were analyzed by t-test and ANCOVA with the SPSS program.
Result: The scores of subscale in the stress was significantly decreased in experimental group than control group.
Conclusion: In light of these results, stress management program has a positive effects on the stress in the army soldiers.
