악기 연주에서의 심리적 임파워먼트 경험에 대한 질적 연구

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 악기 연주에서 어떠한 심리적 임파워먼트 경험을 하는지 규명하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 아마추어 악기 연주자 10명과 심층 면담을 실시하여 악기 연주에서 경험한 심리적 현상에 대한 자료를 수집하였고, 수집된 자료는 수정된 근거이론 방법(O’Callaghan, 1996)으로 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 악기 연 주에서의 심리적 임파워먼트 경험은 ‘내적 자원의 발견’, ‘관계적 기반 형성’, ‘정서적 동력’, ‘자기 확장’의 4개의 핵심범주와 ‘잠재된 에너지의 발견’, ‘성장의 욕구를 발견’, ‘동료와 정서를 공유’, ‘타인들로부터의 인정과 지지’, ‘역할에 대한 책임감’, ‘지금-여기에서의 감정을 즐김’, ‘몸과 감각으로 연주를 느낌’, ‘감정적 정화를 느낌’, ‘연주 과정을 주도하는 힘’, ‘자기를 표현하는 힘’, ‘자신의 성장을 확인’의 11개 하위 범주로 도출되었다. 연구 참여자들은 악기 연주를 하면서 발견한 자신의 내적 자원을 사용하고, 경험 과정에서 얻은 관계적 지지 기반의 힘을 받으며, 악기 연주를 하면서 얻는 정서적 동력에 이끌리어 음악 안에서 자유롭게 자신의 역량을 실현하고 성장을 위해 여러 시도를 하며 자기 확장을 이루어내었다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to identify the experience of psychological empowerment in playing musical instruments. For this purpose, in-depth interviews with 10 amateur musical performers were conducted to collect data on psychological phenomena experienced in playing musical instruments. The collected data were analyzed based on the modified grounded theory( O'Callaghan, 1996). According to the result, participants used the inner resources they discovered while playing the instrument and experienced the relational support-based power gained from playing instruments and the emotional driving force gained from playing instruments. Participants achieved self-expansion by freely realizing their competencies in music and attempting personal growth.
