인천지역 여성민요 갯가노래의 음악적 특성 연구 = 나나니타령과 군음을 중심으로

국문 초록 (Abstract)

인천과 강화도를 위시한 서해 도서지역에는 나나니와 군음이라는 여성들의 민요가 전승되고 있다. 이들 악곡은 본래 황해도의 남서지역에서도 널리 불렸던 노래라고 한다. 현재 인천에서는 나나니와 군음을 묶어 갯가노래라 칭하고 뱃노래와 함께 시도무형문화재 3호로 지정하여 전승·보존하고 있다.??이 글에서는 나나니와 군음의 두 악곡을 대상으로 음악적 구조와 특성을 분석하였다. 선법으로 보면, 나나니와 군음은 황해도보다 충청도적 특성이 더 많다. 그러나 높은 음의 사용에서는 인천만의 특성도 나타난다.??두 곡은 선율에 있어 동일한 음악어법을 활용하고 있으며, 박자구조와 속도만 다르다. 나나니의 가사는 황해도민요와 유사한 구조이며, 군음의 가사는 충청도를 비롯한 남부지역과 유사한 내용으로 되어 있다.??나나니와 군음은 경기·인천지역에서 찾아보기 어려운 여성들의 민요이다. 따라서 두 악곡이 이 지역의 정체성을 드러낸다고 확언할 수는 없다. 그러나 두 악곡에서 황해도와 유사한 점, 충청도와 유사한 점을 각각 찾을 수 있다는 점에서 인천을 비롯한 서해도서지역의 지역적 정체성을 담고 있는 곡이라 볼 수 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Gaetga song is women's song which are sung in the sea near Incheon. Nanani balad is women's song sung of toilsome living to paddling beat and Gunum is sung when women dig out shellfish. In the west islands areas, including the Incheon and Ganghwa, a woman folk song called the Nanani and Gunum is being transmitted. These musical pieces were originally widely sung in the southwestern area in Hwanghae province too. At present in Incheon, categorizing Nanani and Gunum, called as a Gaetga song and they designated it as the third intangible cultural assets of cities and provinces with Baet song. And they have transmitted and preserved it. In this article, we analyzed the musical structure and characteristic with the subject of two pieces of music of Nanani and Gunum. In terms of Mode, we can find the characteristic of Chungchung province more than that of Hwanghae province in Nanani and Gunum. But in the usage of a high tone, we can also find only characteristic of Incheon. Two pieces utilize the identical music expression in melody, only time structure and tempo are different. The structure of the words of a Nanani song is similar to the words of the folk song of Hwanghae province, The structure of the words of Gunum is similar to the words of the folk song of the southern part area headed by Chungchung province. The Nanani and Gunum are folk songs for womankind which are not found easily in Kyonggi, Incheon region. Accordingly, we cannot tell for certain two musical pieces show the true character of this region. But we can understand two tunes include the regional identity of the islands areas of the western sea headed by Incheon because we can find similarities between two musical pieces and Hwanghae, Chungchung respectively.
