日本國憲法上 憲法 第9條의 制定過程과 改正方向 = The Tendency of the Enactment and Amendment of the Article 9 of the Constitution of Japan

Upon the pretext of rebuilding a new country, Japan makes an attempt at revising the Constitution of Japan, called "Peace Constitution" that has never been revised for century, reflecting the changes of domestic circumstances and international situations.
Why is the Constitution of Japan called peace constitution? It is on account of the Article 9 of the Constitution (War Renunciation). Then for what reason did Japan have to take an extreme measure of War Renunciation? Was the choice based on a voluntary will of Japan?
To clarify the doubts and examine into the questions in details, this present study will therefore inquire into the followings: Historical background on the Article 9 of the Constitution of Japan (War Renunciation) (Ⅱ); The relations between the war renunciation clause and MacArthur's Note concerning the provision (Ⅲ); The transition of the Article of the Constitution and the Interpretation (Ⅳ); The prospect hereof (Ⅴ).
