加耶·新羅 古墳의 年代觀 = The chronological standpoint of Gaya·Silla tombs

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 글은 삼국시대 고분연구에서 역연대 설정 문제과 관련하여, 일본 연대관을 그대로 국내에 이식 하여 적용함으로써 가야와 신라 고분의 역연대를 소급해보려는 연구 성과에 대하여 그 문제점을 비판적으로 검토한 글이다. 이 과정에서 본인의 연대관을 보완 설명코자 하였다. 삼국시대 고고학에서 역연대를 알려주는 자료는 극히 드물다. 국내에서는 묘지명이 출토된 무녕왕 능이 거의 유일하다. 여기서 출토된 자료는 역연대 설정의 주요한 지표가 된다. 하지만 부장유물의 성격 때문에 적용이 제한적이다. 이런 까닭에 국내에서는 지역이나 연구자에 따라 역연대관의 기준이 다르다. 그 결과 크게는 100여년에 이르는 연대관의 차이를 보인다. 최근 일본에서는 邪馬臺國 近畿說에 기반하면서 연륜연대나 위글-매칭한 탄소연대 측정치, 화산재 강하연대 등 자연과학적 방법을 통해 얻어진 연구 성과를 활용해 종래보다 연대관을 소급해보려는 경향이 있다. 그 영향으로 일본의 연대관을 국내에 그대로 적용하려는 시도가 있다. 본고는 이 관점에 대해 일본 연대관의 근거와 자연과학적 방법의 고고학 적용에서의 문제점을 지적하였다. 그리고 한일 연대관의 連動 문제와 주요 접점으로 다루어지고 있는 TG232형식, 埼玉稻 荷山고분, 熊本江田船山고분 출토품에 대한 한국 연대관과의 교차편년과 그 해석을 둘러싼 제 논의 들, 나아가 고구려와 백제의 편년 자료의 원용 문제 등을 비판적으로 다루었다. 끝으로 복천동 10·11호분과 옥전M3호분의 편년적 위치를 정하고 이를 기준으로 영남지역 출토 須 惠器와 마구의 공반관계 몇 예를 살핌으로써 한일 편년조율에 대한 필자 안의 가능성을 재확인하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This is a paper of critical review on the problems of retroactively applied absolute date in Three Kingdoms Period by applying the Japanese chronological standpoint to Korea intactly. I try to give a supplementary explanation of my chronological standpoint as well. It is rare which shows absolute date in archaeology of Three Kingdoms Period. King Muryeong’s tomb where the memorial inscription was excavated is sore. The materials from this tomb should be an important indicator for setting absolute date. However, it is qualified to apply because of the character of the grave goods. It makes regional korean researcher has got different chronological standpoint. As a result, there is a gap of about 100 years among them. Recently, it tends to retroact the chronological standpoint in Japan by the scientific methods such as tree-ring dating, radiocarbon dating with wiggle-matching and volcanic ash dating based on the‘ Yamataikoku - Ginki theory’. Thus there has been attempts to apply the Japanese chronological standpoint to Korea instantly. In this paper, I indicate the problems of the basis of the Japanese chronological standpoint and applying the scientific methods to archaeology. I analyze critically discussion of crossdating with TG232 type, grave goods of Yinariyama Tomb, Saitama and Edahunayama Tomb, Kumamoto and it’s interpretation as well as quotation problem of chronologic materials of Goguryo and Baekjae. Finally, based on set the chronological position of Bokcheondong No.10 tomb and Okjeon M3 tomb, I reconfirm my possibility of Korea-Japan chronologic mediation by checking some examples of coexistence of Suheki and horse harness in Yongnam.
