初中等學校 敎育課程 革新을 위한 意見調査 硏究 = A Study on the Needs for Innovation of Elementary and Secondary School Curriculum

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

We have experienced fifth revision of school curriculum since the liberation of Japanese Colorial rule. In the mean time strict subject matter-centered curriculum lasted for considerable period and loose experience-centered curriculum influenced school learning for a long time. Now we are eager to seek the best way toward achieving an inquiry and a discovery-centered curriculum for all teaching-learning process.
To realize a reasonable curriculum revision, it is mandatory that opinions and needs of students, teachers, and parents must be taken into consideration.
In order to identify their needs, six questionnaire forms were constructed and distributed to two thousand persons including the above-mentioned groups both for elementary and secondary schools.
Procured data were seriously analyzed and arranged and as a result a great many heuristic points and suggestions for school curriculum were definitely found.
Modern society is commonly called as the age of uncertainty, the age of international openness, and the age of information. In relation to this context, curriculum should be organized and managed for achieving such a contemporary traits and for realizing such able persons in the future.
