정보 빈곤지역에서의 학술정보 자료 수집활동의 확대를 위한 정보 유통체제 고찰 = A Study on the Information Flow System for Extending the Cricumstances of User's Scholarly Information Acquisitions in the Indigent Region of Information

Information is basic element for researchers in the research activities. They always try to acquire all the information materials concerned with their major. However, no one can completely gather them they needed because of the mass production of information materials around the world. Therefore, most of the libraries and information centers should put their efforts for acquiring all the materials to meet the various user's needs. But due to the shortage of budget for acquisitions and manpower, they couldn't accomplish their duties.
To solve the above problems the libraries and information centers should cooperate for sharing information among them and also users have open mind for cooperative use of information they hold. This study reviewed many libraries and information network systems that we are able to use through various communicating channels and presented communicating methods for individual information .
The first purpose of this study is to confirm and present the formal information flow system which is able to extend the user's acquiring activities of information.
The second purpose of the study is to present the methods for cooperative use of individual information through the information communicating channels.
The revied results are as follows ;
1) A certain library networks supply bibliographic data through the on-line information communicating channels. But source material is only used at the library.
2) some libraries support the on-line information retrieval system and manage the interlibrary-loan system among cooperative members.
3) A certain information centers have function of on-line information network system through various channels and communicating methods and support all the source materials along with translating services.
4) some information communicating network systems support only information communicating circumstnaces between and user an the libraries/information centers.
5) For accessing all the information communicating network system and using the individual information management suystem, a personal computer(IBM XT and over), communication software and modem which are already generalized to users are Merely needed.
