구조개혁과 엘리트 충원을 통해 본 프랑스 경제외교

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The frequent appearance of the term economic diplomacy or 'business diplomacy shows us the economic agenda have become more and more important in international relations. The field(champ) of French economic diplomacy is composed of various organizations that occupy their positions with different roles and functions. And the different types of cooperation and competition among those organizations and their interactive competition have become sources of explaining the vibrancy and competitiveness of the field (we can find two types of competition and cooperation: one between the public and the private ones; and the other between the political and the economic ones).
In order to observe the dynamism of these types, which occurs in the community of French economic diplomacy, this article, first, examines the roles and functions of two public organizations, which possess the most expanded networks: the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Ministry of Finance. Next it scrutinizes the efforts of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which tries to integrate the major economic affairs within its organization in its competition with the Ministry of Finance.
Then, while focusing our attention on the organizational transformations in the process of their competition between the two diplomatic and economic agents in the field of economic diplomacy, this article conducts more thorough examination of the transformations, which occurs within the institutions that undertake the international economic relations of France.
