사마드 베흐랑기 동화에 나타난 인물유형 연구 = A study on the Character Types in Children`s Story of Samad Behrangi

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study aims to analyze the characters of Samad Behrangi`s Children`s Story. Samad Behrangi is called Hans Andersen of Iran. He entered the children`s literary world after his story called 「Mahi-ye Siah-e Kuchulu」. This story was translated into many foreign languages and have been loved by Iranian and the other country. He wrote many children`s stories. from 1344/1961. He tried to describe the reality of Iran society which was related with contradiction between social rank, that is, the rich and the poor, ruling class and under ruling class, urban and rural, selfishness and unselfishness. He makes frequent use of reality and fantasy which is one of the funct ion of chi ldren`s literature. He shows that the poor and working-class who were alienated by Shah Pahlavi had been suffering for imbalance of the wealth. So he took types in characters of them. Samad Behrangi was willing to teach children the importance of ethic, learning and overcoming current hard situation of society and give them hopeful future in spite of dark period. Especially he was outstanding to realize social problems. Therefore he always deals with the people who are in poor condition both in society and in economy. His works are reflected with resistance consciousness and social chaos. This shows his sense of perception about the real world. In conclusion, SamadBehrangi characterized for depicting the real of society. Those character types he pursued in his works include the character that is positive mind type to suffering reality of life, one that leads a true and human life and does good deeds to others, one that is reality-oriented type, one that is inner-maturity type, at the same time, he hoped that children would know society and social condition through main characters in his works.
