비경제활동 여성장애인의 근로참여경험에 관한 현상학적 연구 : 1년 이상 경제활동에 참여하지 않은 여성장애인을 중심으로 = A Phenomenological Research on Working Participation Experience of Inactive Women with Minor Disability

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구의 목적은 현재 비경제활동상태인 여성장애인들을 대상으로 이들의 근로경험에 대한 본질을 현상학적 방법으로 접근하여 그 의미와 기본구조를 이해하고자 하는 것이다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위해, 연구자들은 과거에 근로를 하였으나 최근 1년 이상 일을 하지 않았던 8명의 여성장애인을 대상으로 심층면접을 실시하여 자료를 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 다음과 같은 4가지 주제묶음을 도출하였다. '무대를 향해 한 걸음 내딛기', '낯선 무대의 경험', '현실 앞에 무릎꿇음', '한계를 수용하고 주저앉음'이다. 참여자들의 경험은 노동시장 진입과정부터 내재된 장애와 성차별로 자신의 장애에 대한 부정적 편견과 사회에 대한 불신이 가중되는 경험이었고 이는 결국 노동시장을 이탈하거나 근로동기를 잃게 하여 이들을 비경제활동 인구로 잔류하도록 하였다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 여성장애인들의 노동시장 재진입을 돕고 근로를 지속할 수 있는 실천적 개입전략에 관해 논의하였다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to explore former working participation experience of disabled women who does not participate in economic activity and examine how this fact forms the context of not re-entry in the labor market. To accomplish this purpose, researchers collected various data from eight women with minor disability who haven't been participating in economic activity more than one year and analysed the data by using qualitative research approach, which is Colaizzi's phenomenological analysis method. By analysing their work experiences, six major themes were found. The themes are "going one step toward stage", "experience of stage", "frustration in front of the reality", "collapse concede limitation". Implications of the research findings and suggestions for supporting employment were also discussed. In the process of former working participation, the discriminating experience happened for being women and disabled person is eventually considered as a factor that makes them to deviate from labor market or lose work motivation.
