The purpose of this sutdy was to explore the early recollections and lifestyle formed through the family constellation and to examine the process of its transformation through the participation of the researcher (a middle school professional counselor) in an Adlerian early recollection group counseling program through an autobiographical narrative inquiry. To achieve this purpose, the field texts were composed of early recollection narratives obtained during the group counseling process, feedback from the group leader and members, reflective records, participation reports, verbatim transcripts of group sessions, and inquiry notes. The findings are as follows: First, the lifestyle identified by exploring early recollections and family constellations was found to influence the researcher’s academic choices, career decisions, and interpersonal relationships. Second, the experience of emotional healing of core emotions facilitated reorientation toward a more socially useful lifestyle. Third, the reorientation of early recollections and lifestyles extended beyond internal changes and led to the expansion of counselors’ identities. Based on these findings, implications were discussed and suggestions for future research were proposed.
