The analysis draws on multiple perspectives and employs mixed research methods, including literature reviews, secondary data analysis, and the presenter’s previous research. Specifically, the research asks: In which sports have Taiwan demonstrated excellence at the Summer Olympics, and how do these achievements reflect the broader social, cultural, and institutional dynamics of Taiwanese society, including sport policy, athletes’ careers, and public well-being?
