불교문화콘텐츠 개발 방향 = Suggestions for Developing Buddhist Culture Contents

국문 초록 (Abstract)

불교미술, 불교음악 및 불교문학을 소재로 한 다양한 디지털콘텐츠가 활발하게 개발되고 있고 디지털콘텐츠에 관한 수요도 급속히 증가하고 있다. 또한, 무선통신기술을 기반으로 한 디지털멀티미디어방송(DMB)과 고속휴대인터넷(WiBro) 서비스가 상용화 단계에 들어가고 있다. 이러한 디지털통신기술 발전은 디지털콘텐츠 유통 플랫폼을 변화시키고, 고속인터넷 접속과 사용을 가능하게 하여 사용자들로 하여금 다양한 문화콘텐츠를 접할 기회를 제공할 것이다.
본 고에서는 국내의 불교문화콘텐츠 현황과 디지털콘텐츠 유통 플랫폼에 대해서 알아본다. 또한, 변화된 디지털콘텐츠 유통 플랫폼과 관련한 디지털 불교문화 콘텐츠 저작권 관리 기술을 점검하고, 이러한 환경변화를 감안한 효과적인 불교문화콘텐츠 개발방향을 제시한다.

Various kinds of digital contents about Buddhist art, music, and literature have been developed and demands on these digital contents are increased rapidly. Also, DMB(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) and WiBro(Portable Internet Services) are becoming commercialized. Advances in technologies about the wireless digital communication change platforms for exchanging digital contents and enable users to connect to the potable high speed internet. End users can enjoy various kinds of contents.
In this paper, we review the current status of development of contents about Buddhist culture and platforms for distributing digital contents in Korea. Also, we describe the digital contents management systems for protecting copy rights of digital contents about Buddhist culture and propose directions for developing digital contents about Buddhist culture in consideration of these environmental changes.
