고전소설 〈오유란전〉의 설화구조 특징 연구 = 그레마스의 기호학적 분석을 중심으로

국문 초록 (Abstract)

고전소설 〈오유란전〉은 김생과 이생이 오유란이라는 훼절요소를 통해 비슷한 신분이 되어 다시 우정을 되찾게 됨을 보여주고 있다. 이러한 유형구조에 대한 의미 파악을 위해 훼절양상에 따른 텍스트를 최소단위로 나누었으며, 전체 줄거리와 각 시련들의 연계성을 분석하기 위해 어떠한 논리와 상호 관계 속에서 이야기가 전개되고 있는지를 그레마스의 설화구조 〈최초상황?시련?결핍해소〉로 나누어 텍스트에 드러나는 상황을 중심으로 분석해 봄으로써 그레마스의 행동자 모델에 적용시켜 보았다. 기호학적 텍스트 분석은 텍스트에 등장하는 인물들의 행동, 사건, 위계관계 등을 해석하게 할 뿐만 아니라, 그 텍스트의 해석 방향을 결정하게 되는데, 고전소설 〈오유란전〉에서는 잠재 주체와 조력자가 변형되어 행동자 모델에도 급반전을 가져왔으며, 방해자가 사라지고 협조자가 나타나 이생의 훼절에 치중하여 이생의 의미를 새롭게 구성함으로써 암행어사가 되어 우정을 되찾는 대목은 긍정적인 사고를 인식시킬 수 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The 〈Ohyouranjoen〉 shows that Kimsang and Leesang recovered friendship by getting similar social statues through the sexual corrupting factors. To understand the meaning of these structures of type, we studied the texts divided in a minimal unit. Moreover, we applied to the Greimas actant model from analyzing the recognized situation in the texts divided by structure of tale of Greimas: final situation, ordeal, and fulfillment of deficiency, whether story is developed in certain logic by analyzing the relation between whole plots and each ordeal.
The semiotic analysis of text is that not only interprets character’s behavior, accident, and hierarchy in the text of novel, but also determines the direction of the interpreting text. In the 〈Ohyouranjoen〉, especially, as a modified potential main subjective character and assistors bring sudden reversal in the actant model. On the other hand, the reconstruction provokes optimism at the point of recovering friendship after becoming a secret royal inspector.
