      다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

      We are going to study the Zen of Lin-Chi based on Zen buddhism that seers enlightenment through the Koan of the Sung dynasty in the history of the Zen sect, and the influence upon the formation of Zen buddhism that seers enlightenment through the roan of the thought of Lin-Chi's Zen.
      In the method of the study, first, we are going to understand the standpoint of Zen buddhism that seers enlightenment through the roan which became the main current of the Zen sect in Sung dynasty. Then we observe the relation between the Zen of Lin-Chi and Zen buddhism that seers enlightenment through the roan. In the thought of Zen, especially 修行觀, which is based on 《a work on the analect》 of Lin-Chi who was the founder of the Lin-Chi sect.
      The Lin-Chi sect was formed by Lin-Chi I-hsuan(~867), and was divided into 黃龍,楊岐派 in Shih-shuang chu-yuan Ⅶ (987~1040). After that Zen buddhism that seers enlightenment through the roan was emphasezed through a criticism of Silent Zen of 曹溪宗. The object of Zen buddhism that seers enlightenment through the roan was to open a frame of mind(心境) Vimurti through 'Zen riddle'. It was 臨濟系 大慧宗果(1089~1163) that toor shape of these 禪修 logically.
      大 蕙said, "Zen is not to sever 思量分別 but to 看 original natural of enlightenment in the boder of phenomea and to refer to the Zen riddle is the method. Then after the self-dicipline, the transmission of doubt is the very boder of 無心."
      In a work in the analects, Lin-Chi put emphasis on this : You must be confident that you are the very 三身佛 yourself and the one who accepts that is 無事人 who behaves oneself always with perfect freedom like a master. And then, he is on the boder of 無心.
      The thought of 信 of Lin-Chi was not to cease from 心地 but to be on the whole effect of 見聞覺知. His self-descipline gainsaid 坐禪行 of fixed method. It placed emphasis on 一朝自省 getting acquainted with Zen knowledge and cultivating 佛法大意 in ordinary life. Consequently, it must be the self-discipline of 無所得 無所悟.
      You use a loud cry in the education of 學人 of Lin-Chi, and from a standpoint of 學人. the sharp cry which cut off 思量 did duty as 看 of 看話 . In 大慧禪, 看話 is the expediencies for promulgating buddhism verification 漸修頓悟的 '信', but '喝' or '捧' of Lin-Chi is that of 頓悟頓修的 '信'. After all these 喝, 捧 or 看話 are the transmission of these weapon's 無明(疑團) is '一超' '一時' and '頓' This boder is '生→熟→生' of 大慧 and 寶主歷然 of Lin-Chi.
      In this meaning, the formation and the origin of Zen buddhism that seers enlightenment through the roan of 大慧 is based on the thought of Zen of Lin-Chi. 看話 of 大慧禪 was the modification of concret, systematic, and more developed Zen of Lin-Chi in the interrelationship of the thought of Zen of Lin-Chi.
