매체 도입기에 나타난 두려움에 대한 연구 = 혁명적 변화와 진화적 변화의 중재기제로서의 두려움

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The revolutionary changes in a macro level as a result of the introduction of new media technology can be seen as the evolutionary changes in a micro level. This study suggests the hypothesis that fear acts as a mechanism of mediating between discontinuous changes and continuous changes. One type of fear suppresses the radical potential, and the other attempts to overcome learned helplessness caused by repeated experience of failure. The idea that the two types of fear control the speed of social changes is hypothetical, but it must offer us a fundamental source for the discussion about social tension and conflict that can occur as a result of the introduction of new media technologies in the future.
