종말적 현상으로서의 동성애에 관한 연구

본 연구의 목적은 재림 전에 나타날 동성애에 대하여 알고, 사회에 영향을 미치는 동성애에 문제와 재림성도들이 가져야 할 동성애에 대한 올바른 개념과 신학적 정립을 세우는데 목적이 있다.
재림 전의 사회현상으로서의 동성애에 대하여 각 장에서는 다음과 같은 연구가 진행되었다.
제1장 서론에서는 문제의 진술과 연구의 중요성과 목적, 그리고 연구방법과 및 제한을 통하여 재림 전에 나타날 동성애에 대한 연구의 필요성과 동성애가 종말론적 사건임을 진술하였다.
제2장에서는 동성애에 관련된 다양한 용어들을 살펴보았고, 동성애가 언제 시작되었는지 역사를 알아보았다.
제3장에서는 동성애에 대한 대표적인 3가지 원인들을 나누어 학자들이 써놓은 실험내용들과 발표들을 통하여 동성애의 원인들을 살펴보았다.
제4장에서는 동성애에 관한 논의로 성경에 나타난 동성애 문제들과 동성애의 본질에 관한 신학적인 옹호와 반대에 대하여 알아보았다.
제5장에서는 동성애를 중심한 재림 전의 현상을 성경에서 노아와 롯의 시대에서 살펴보았으며, 현시대에 나타난 동성애의 다양한 문화와 사회 그리고 교회에 미치는 문제에 대하여 알아보았다.
제6장에서는 신학적 이해를 가지고 동성애에 대한 신학적 평가와 교회들의 입장들을 알아보았으며, 동성애에 목회적 대안으로 동성애에대한 포용과 애해 그리고 교인들의 자세, 치유방안들을 제시하였다.
제7장에서는 본 연구의 결과를 분석하고 요약하여 결론을 맺었다.
결론적으로 본 연구를 통하여 재림전의 사회현상인 동성애에 대하여 올바른 신학적 애해와 변화에 준비해야한다. 동성애에 대한 배타적인 이해보다 시대적 상황에 올바르게 대체해 나가는 신학적 정립이 필요하다. 그렇지 않으면 동성애에 대한 이해와 사상이 복음을 전하는데 걸림돌이 될 수 있다. 마지막 종차점을 향하여 이 지구는 가고 있다. 이러한 시대에 살고 있는 재림성도들은 마지막 남은 백성으로써 예수의 믿음과 거룩한 계명을 가진 자들이다. 영원한 복음을 가진 재림성도들은 주님께서 주신 지상 명령을 쫓아 동성애자들과 지구상에 살고 있는 모든 이들에게 복음을 전하는데 총력을 기울여야 할 것이다.
재림교회는 동성애에 대한 인식의 전환과 아울러 동성애에 대한 선교에 대한 체계적인 정책 수립이 필수하다. 마지막시대에 선교의 중심이 되는 재림교회가 되길 바란다.

ABSTRACT
Study on Homosexuality as a Eschatological Event

The purpose of this paper is to know about homosexuality before the Second Coming, homosexual problems influencing the society, and for the Adventists to have right concept and theological thesis about homosexuality.
About homosexuality as a pre-advent social event, each chapter deals with the following.
In chapter 1, I stated the necessity of study on homosexuality before Second Coming and that homosexuality is an eschatological event through problem statement, importance and purose of the study, and research method and limits.
In chapter 2, various terms related with homosexuality and the history of homosexuality is discussed.
In chapter 3, I divided three outstanding reasons for homosexuality and looked at them through experiments and presentations of scholars.
In chapter 4, I looked at theological defenses and offenses on the nature of homosexuality and homosexuality in Bible.
In chapter 5, I put my focus on homosexuality as the pre-advent event viewed through the times of Noah and Lot. Also, I dealt with the problems occurred in today's church, society, and cultures-all influenced by homosexuality.
In chapter 6, I looked at theological evaluation and church stands in theological understanding, and suggested acceptance, understanding, attitudes of church members, healing methods, etc. toward homosexuality as pastoral alternative.
In chapter 7, I evaluated the result of study and made a conclusion.
In short, through this study, we must prepare for right theological understanding and changes in homosexuality as a pre-advent social event. Rather than exclusive understanding of homosexuality, it is necessary to have theological position which takes appropriate actions. If not, wrong knowledge and ideology of homosexuality may become an obstacle in spreading the gospel. The earth is moving toward its end. Living in this world, the Adventists are the remnant who keep the holy commandments and have the faith of Jesus. As Adventists having the everlasting gospel, we must put all our efforts in spreading the good news to all people over all the earth, even homosexuals, according to the Great Commission given by the Lord.
