Tasan`s views of public occupational ethic developed on the base of his politicl philosophy. This study of Tasan`s views focus on Lun-yu¨ ko-keum-chu, his interpretation of Analects, Tang-non, and Won-mok which constitute the core of the political philsophy. In addition to, this study is bounded on Tasan`s views of public occupational ethic which formulate governmental service what should to do for the people these days. This study deals with three problems in relation to public occupational ethic. First, What characters exist social-economic implications of Tasan`s age, late Lee dynasty, relating political-philosophical thoughts of Tasan? Second, What`s political philosophy that formulates public occupational ethic of Tasan? About public occupational ethic, third, the question we should ask is three aspects of implications. We should begin with real experiences of Tasan before experiences that he lived ganjin. Because human life is determinated his experiences of real life and heritage of knowledge in his ages. One notable aspect of public occupational ethic that Tasan had achieved was realization of dreaming for the people. It is his work, Mongminsims?? that seemed to be the best work which he achieved in this areas, social-economic philosophy. Tasan insisted that political man could only as a result ethical conduct and love for the people. In view of this, the point of Tasan`s public occupational ethic is that love for the people on the basis between academical achievements and real experiences. The public occupational ethic of Tasan teach public service these days.
