웹툰을 활용한 과거 회상 표현 교수 학습 방안 연구: ‘-던’,‘-았/었던’을 중심으로

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 한국어 학습자들이 사용하기 어려워하는‘-던’과‘-았/었던’을 효과적으로 교수 학습하기 위하여 웹툰을 활용하는 방안을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위하여 먼저 한국어 교육에서의 웹툰의 유용성에 대해 살피고 한국어 교육 자료에 나타나는‘-던’과‘-았/었던’에 대해 분석하였다. 그리고 웹툰을 활용하여 과거 회상 표현을 나타내는 10가지 장면을 만들고 26명의 중고급 수준의 한국어 학습자를 대상으로 과거 회상 표현 중‘-던’과‘-았/었던’사용에 대한 연구 조사를 실시하고 이후 설문과 심층 면담도 진행하였다. 이를 통하여 한국어 학습자들이‘-던’과‘-았/었던’을 구분하는 것을 어려워하며 특히‘-던’을 사용하는 데 오류가 많다는 사실을 밝히고 과거 회상 표현 교육에서 웹툰을 활용하는 것의 유용성도 살펴보았다. 이를 바탕으로 웹툰을 활용하여 -던’과‘-았/었던’의 교수 학습 자료를 구성하고 과제 기반 모형(TTT)으로 교수 학습 모형을 설계하여 제시하였다. 본 연구는 웹툰의 한국어 교육적 유용성을 밝히고‘-던’과‘-았/었던’을 교수 학습하는 방안으로 웹툰을 활용하여 실제적인 교육 자료와 교수 학습 모형을 제시하였다는 것에 그 의의가 있다. 그러나 제시한 교수 학습 모형을 실제 수업을 통해 효과를 검증하지 못한 것은 한계점이다. 본 연구 이후에도 한국어 교육에서 웹툰을 활용한 연구가 다양하게 이루어지기를 기대한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study aims to propose a method for effectively teaching and learning the Korean past recollection expressions‘-teon’and‘-ass/eossten’, which learners of Korean often find difficult to use, by utilizing webtoons. To achieve this, the study first examines the usefulness of webtoons in Korean language education and analyzes the appearances of‘-teon’and‘-ass/eossten’in Korean language teaching materials. Additionally, ten scenes depicting past recollection expressions were created using webtoons, and a study was conducted involving 26 intermediate to advanced level Korean learners on the use of ‘-teon’ and ‘-ass/eossten’ in past recollection expressions. Surveys and in-depth interviews were conducted afterward. The findings reveal that Korean learners find it difficult to distinguish between‘-teon’and‘-ass/eossten’and particularly make many errors in using‘-teon’. Furthermore, the usefulness of utilizing webtoons in teaching past recollection expressions was examined. Based on these findings, the study proposes teaching and learning materials for‘-teon’ and‘-ass/eossten’using webtoons and suggests a task-based teaching model (TTT) for teaching and learning. This study highlights the educational benefits of webtoons in Korean language education and presents practical educational materials and teaching-learning models for‘-teon’and‘-ass/eossten’using webtoons. However, a limitation of this study is the inability to verify the effectiveness of the proposed teaching model through actual classroom application. It is hoped that this study will lead to further research on the use of webtoons in Korean language education.
