기독교 상담과 인지치료를 통합한 열등감 치료 프로그램의 효과 검증 -자아개념과 자아존중감을 중심으로- = he Effective Verification of Inferiority Complex Therapy Program which Combined with Christian Counseling and Cognitive Therapy -in focused on self-concept and self-esteem

The man who has inferiority complex criticizes himself because of low self-esteem. This sense of inferiority affects man``s behavior and performs one of the strongest influences in forming character. We could witness many christians were suffering due to inferiority complex in pastoral circumstances. We could also observe discouraged many christians who had more potentials to develop themselves because of this sense of inferiority. So, to help them restoring the image of God, the therapy for their inferiority complex is essential. This study is to develop the program to heal the sense of inferiority by combining Christian counseling and cognitive therapy and to verify its effectiveness. Verifying the result, the persons which took this inferiority therapy program showed improvement on self-esteem and self-concept in general aspects-physical, moral, character, home society, and capability. So, we hope this program could be performed as helping program for Korean christians to accept themselves as it is, to restore their self-esteem that was given by the God, and to take themselves as invaluable existence. The significance of this program was the firstly developed program for inferiority complex and it combined the Christian counseling and cognitive therapy.
