    The purpose of this study was an analysis of the effect of acute exercise performance in mRNA level expression of lipid metabolism association gene in soleus muscle of rat. Methods; Twenty male wistar rats(5 wk) were used as the subjects. They were exercised on the treadmill at 20 m/min, 20 m/min and 30 m/min for 15days. The measured data of body weight and lipid metabolism association gene were analyzed with 2-way repeated ANOVA using SPSS statistics (version 11.0). Result were as follows: Body weight (BW) were significantly (p<.05) increased in two groups after 15days. FATP was significantly(p<.05) increased in exercise group, but LPL CPT1b, FAT and FABP in two groups showed no significant change after 15days. In conclusion: 15days acute exercise improves obese indices, body weight in two groups, but there was no effects in mRNA level expression of lipid metabolism association gene in soleus muscle of rat.
