국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 내러티브 탐구 방법을 통해, 초등교사의 교육전문직 되기와 근무 경험에 대한 의 미를 탐색하고자 하였다. 3년 이상, 2개 이상의 근무지를 경험한 C교육청 교육전문직 4명을 대상으로 2025년 6월부터 8월까지 3개월 동안 반구조화된 면담을 통해 현장텍스트를 수집하 였다. 이를 연구참여자별 이야기하기(Telling)인 중간텍스트를 면담결과를 토대로 기술하고, 다 시 이야기하기(Retelling)를 통해 5개의 주제를 도출하여 연구텍스트를 구성하였다. 연구결과는 ‘자신이 중심이 되어 새롭게 도전하는 삶’, ‘성취와 성장의 늪에 갇힌 교직 문화’, ‘일에 파묻 혀 살아가는 삶에서 가치 찾기’, ‘교육의 큰 방향을 바라보며 함께 나아가기’, ‘교육전문직의 관점에서 바라보는 우리 미래와 교육’의 5개의 주제로 제시하였다. 이를 통해 초등교사의 교 육전문직 되기와 근무 경험의 의미가 무엇인지 탐색하였다. 도출된 연구결과를 토대로 선행 연구에 기반하여 논의를 진행하였으며, 내러티브 탐구의 세 정당성인 개인적, 실제적, 사회적 정당성을 제시하였다. 연구의 제언을 통해 연구대상, 연구방법, 연구초점 측면에서 후속 연구 를 제안하였다.

This study aimed to explore the meaning of elementary school teachers' becoming educational professionals and their work experiences through narrative inquiry. Field texts were collected through semi-structured interviews with four education professionals at the C Office of Education who had more than three years of experience in two or more workplaces over a three-month period from June to August 2025. This was done by describing the intermediate text, which is the story (Telling) of each research participant, based on the interview results, and then constructing the research text by deriving five themes through Retelling. The research results were presented under five themes: ‘A life centered on oneself and taking on new challenges,’ ‘A teaching culture trapped in the swamp of achievement and growth,’ ‘Finding value in a life buried in work,’ ‘Moving forward together while looking at the general direction of education,’ and ‘Our future and education from the perspective of educational professionals.’Through this, we explored the meaning of becoming an elementary school teacher as an educational professional and the work experience. Based on the research results, a discussion was conducted based on previous research, and three justifications for narrative inquiry were presented. Through the research suggestions, follow-up research was proposed in terms of research subjects, research methods, and research focus.
