‘이방인’과 인간행위자 Ⅰ = ‘초월’과 ‘내재’ 사이

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 논문에서는 ‘인간행위자’를 ‘이방인’으로 특징 지울 수 있는 가능성을 검토하고 있다. 이러한 시도의 동기는 사회세계의 ‘인간행위자’들의 모습과 이런 저런 물리적, 인지적, 그리고 공간적 시간적 맥락을 쉼 없이 오고가는 ‘이방인’의 모습에서 어떤 친화력을 목도할 수 있기 때문이었다. 보다 구체적으로 말해서, 본 논문은 양자 사이의 친화력을 탐구함으로써 사회학이론에서 가장 핵심적인 주제 중 하나로 간주될 수 있는 ‘인간행위자’ 문제를 새로운 시각으로 접근하고자 한다. 이를 위해서, 특히 본 논문에서는 ‘초월’과 ‘내재’ 사이를 끊임없이 왕래하는 ‘인간행위자’와 ‘이방인’에 초점을 맞춤으로써 양자 사이의 상동성을 발견하고 나아가 ‘이방인’으로서의 ‘인간행위자’론의 구축을 모색하고 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this article is to pursue the possibility of a new perspective on the problem of human agency, that ‘human agency’ can be considered as a ‘stranger’. The reason this paper attempts to do this is that we are able to grasp some affinities among two, which both back and forth among the different social contexts cognitively and physically. Put differently, this paper tries to offer a new approach to the problem of ‘human agency’ through carefully scrutinizing the affinity between the human agency and stranger in detail. To do this, focusing on both endless hovering between the two polar axes, transcendence and immanence, this paper tries to establish the theory of human agency as a stranger.
