지역별 태권도장의 분포특성에 따른 설치 및 운영 방안 = Facilities Development and Management Based on Characteristics of Regional Taekondo-jang

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to develop development of Taekondo-Jang's facilities management through the analysis of secondary data sources on distribution characteristics of regional Taekondo-jangs.
For this analysis, the author used following data: number of black belt players, number and size of Taekondo-Jangs, national populations.
It was investigated number of Taekondo-Jang's facilities, facilities area, ratio of area based on wide-area Autonomous Communities, facilities number based on administrative districts, and level(Z-score) of area. The formular for classifying the level of area is as the following: Z=((X-)/б).
The results of this study are as followed.
First, an average number of Taekondo-Jang's facilities per 10,000 of population in Sanju city is 2.34. Especially, it was revealed that the area with the highest number of Taekondo-Jang's facilities in South Korea is Taegu city, which is 2.88 per 10,000 of population. And the numbers of facilities in Jaeju-do(2.60), Ulsan city(2.59) and Gyeongsangnam-do(2.56) are above the Korea average. In contrast, the numbers of facilities in Daejeon city(1.84), Seoul city(1.92),Chungcheongbuk-do(2.00) and Jeollanam-do(2.02) are below the Korea average.
Second, an average number of Taekondo-Jang's facilities per 10㎢ in Korea is 0.48.
the numbers of facilities in Seoul city(3.18), Busan city(0.97), Daegu city(0.79), Incheon city(?),Gwangju city(0.67) and Daejeon city(0.52) are above the Korea average. It is interesting that Daegu city has more Taekondo-Jang's facilities than Incheon city although the population of Daegu city(2,430,000) is higher than that of Incheon city(2,430,000). It could be assumed that Taekondo is the popular sport in Daegu.
Third, an average ratio of area for Taekondo-Jang's facilities is 0.70%. The ratios of area in Seoul city(4.63%), Pusan city(1.41%), Daegu city(1.13%) and Incheon city(1.03%) are above the average. In contrast, The ratios of area in Gangwon-do(0.03%), Gyeongsangnam-do(0.05%),Gyeongsangbuk-do(0.05%) and Chungcheongbuk-do(0.06) are below the average.
Forth, the author categorized wide-area Autonomous Communities into several levels based on the number and size of Taekondo-Jang's facilities per administrative area. Based on number of facilities per administrative area,Seoul city and Busan city were categorized into A-level group(over 0.5 z-score). Daegu city,Incheon city, Gwangju city, Daejeon city were categorized into B-level group(0-0.5 z-score).
These areas have more facilities compared to others. On the other hand, based on number of facilities per 1000 of population, Daegu city, Incheon city, Ulsan city, Jeollabuk-do,Gyeongsangbuk-do, Gyeongsangnam-do, Jaeju-do were categorized into A-level group(over 0.5z-score). Gyeonggi-do and Chungcheongnam-do were categorized into B-level group. In addition,it was found that number of facilities per administrative area in 2009 were decreased compared to that in 2007.
