      The purpose of this study is to imvestigate the pilgrimage of physical activities in Hwarangdo. Conclusions are summarized as follows:
      1. We know that the aim of the pilgrimage of a Hwarangdo on the basis of sumworship was to traim their physical and mental conditions, travelling many splendid mountains and rivers. And we know that it was in charge of a very important position in the sense of military affairs as well as playing and religious ritual.
      2. In Hwarangdo, the aim of practice of the pilgrimage was to observe what the realities of the people's live was, secretly to search for the movements of the enemy, and to stir up the courage of the people by mass training. Also it was practical with the view of practicing the political and military security.
