상호문화사회에 대한 올바른 인식과 소통의 길 = 예수 그리스도의 족보와 사마리아 여인과의 대화에 근거하여

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본고는 세계화, 정보화, 다문화 시대를 살아가는 우리가 과연 어떤 마음가짐과 삶의 자세로 살아가야 하는지, 다문화사회에 대해서는 어떻게 인식하는 것이 올바르고, 문화 간에는 어떤 방법으로 대화하고 소통하는 것이 좋은지를 성찰하고자 한다. 먼저 세계사회와 한국사회가 점차 이주민이 증가하는 추세를 보이고 있는 데 반해 이주민에 대한 인식은 아직 그에 미치지 못한다는 사실을 설문조사 결과를 통해 제시하면서, 다문화사회를 넘어 상호문화사회로 나아가야 한다는 점을 문화에 대한 올바른 이해, 특히 상호문화주의 사상을 통해 제시하고자 한다. 이어 예수 그리스도의 생애, 특히 예수그리스도의 족보와 사마리아 여인과의 대화에 근거하여 상호문화사회에 대한 올바른 인식을 성찰하고 상호문화사회의 만남과 대화, 소통과 친교의 길을 모색하고자 한다. 이스라엘의 선민의식과 순혈주의를 넘어 모든 지역, 국가, 민족의 모든 사람들을 아우르는 예수 그리스도 족보에 나타난 하느님구원의 보편성을 고찰하면서, 타민족, 타문화, 이주민에 대한 차별과 편견의 문제점을 성찰한다. 또한 사마리아 사람들에 대한 차별을 넘어서는 예수 그리스도와 사마리아 여인과의 대화를 살펴보면서, 상호문화사회에서 우리가 가져야 할 만남과 대화, 소통과 친교의 길을 모색한다. 이런 성찰을 바탕으로 본고는 상호문화사회 구현의 목적을 위해 국가적 차원에서는 상호문화정책의 활성화가 필요하고 교회적 차원에서는 상호문화사목의 활성화가 필요하다는 사실을 제안한다. 본고는 세계사회와 한국사회를 상호문화적 시각에서 조명하면서, 이주노동자, 결혼이주민, 유학생, 망명자(북한이탈동포) 등 상호문화가족들에 대한 잘못된 인식을 개선하고 올바른 이해를 도모하며 그들과 우리가 다 함께 힘을 합쳐 상호문화사회를 건설할 수 있도록, 예수그리스도의 모범적 삶을 제시하고 이에 근거하여 올바른 상호문화정책과 상호문화사목의 활성화를 제안하는 데 그 목적이 있다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study is an examination of what kind of mind-set and attitudes we should have toward our life, and how we should approach multi-cultural society and how we should interact and communicate with different cultures in the age of globalization, information and multi-culturalism. First, the study presents survey results that show Korea and countries around the world are receiving a growing number of immigrants while our attitudes toward them have not improved, and tries to suggest, through a better understanding of different cultures and inter-culturalism that we should move into inter-cultural society beyond multi-culturalism. This study continues to take a look at the life of Jesus Christ, specifically, the genealogy of Jesus Christ and Jesus Christ’s conversations with the woman of Samaria to think about the appropriate understanding of inter-cultural society and to promote exchanges, conversations, communications and friendly relations in it. This study looks at the universality of the God’s redemption revealed in the genealogy of Jesus Christ that reaches every region, nation and people beyond Israel’s elitism and racism. It continues to examine problems rising from discrimination and prejudice against different peoples, different cultures and immigrants, and suggests the ideology of inter-culturalism as an alternative. It also takes a look at the conversations between Jesus Christ and the woman of Samaria that go beyond the common discrimination against the people of Samaria, trying to promote exchanges, conversations, communications and friendly relations. Based on such an examination, this study suggests that realizing an inter-cultural society requires nations to actively adopt inter-cultural policies and churches to embrace inter-cultural pastoral care. Putting a spotlight on Korean society and the global society from the inter-cultural perspective, this study aims to correct misunderstanding of inter-cultural families that include migrant workers, foreigners who come to Korea to marry Korean men and women, foreign students and North Korean defectors, to present the exemplary life of Jesus Christ in an effort to build society where Koreans co-exist in harmony with them, and to suggest the active adoption of appropriate inter-cultural policies and inter-cultural pastoral care.
