어머니의 수행목표가 성취압력에 미치는 영향: 양육불안의 매개효과 = The Impact of Mothers’ Performance Goal Orientation on Achievement Pressure: The Mediating Effect of Parenting Anxiety

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 어머니의 목표지향성 중 수행목표가 양육불안을 매개로 자녀에 대한 성취압력에 미치는 영향을 검증하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 초등학교 5, 6학년 자녀를 양육하는 어머니 448명을 대상으로 목표지향성, 양육불안, 학업성취압력을 측정하는 설문조사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 상관분석과 다중회귀분석을 통해 분석하였으며, 매개효과 검증을 위해 PROCESS macro Model 4를 활용하였다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 어머니의 수행목표는 양육불안 및 자녀에 대한 성취압력과 모두 유의한 정적 상관을 보였다. 둘째, 양육불안은 성취압력과 유의한 정적 관계를 나타내어, 어머니의 양육불안 수준이 높을수록 자녀에게 부과되는 성취압력이 증가하는 것으로 확인되었다. 셋째, 어머니의 수행목표와 성취압력 간의 관계에서 양육불안은 부분매개효과를 가지는 것으로 나타났으며, 양육불안의 모든 하위요인이 해당 관계를 유의하게 부분 매개하는 것으로 확인되었다. 이러한 결과는 어머니의 수행목표가 자녀에 대한 성취압력으로 이어지는 과정에서 양육불안이 중요한 심리적 기제로 작용함을 시사하며, 부모의 목표지향성과 정서적 특성을 고려한 양육 개입의 필요성을 제안한다.

The aim of this study was to examine the effect of mothers’ performance goal orientation on achievement pressure toward their children, with parenting anxiety as a mediator. A survey of 448 mothers of 5th- and 6th-grade elementary students measured performance goal orientation, parenting anxiety, and achievement pressure. Data were analyzed using correlation and multiple regression, with mediation effects tested using PROCESS Macro Model 4. Results showed that performance goal orientation was positively associated with both parenting anxiety and achievement pressure, and parenting anxiety was positively associated with achievement pressure. Furthermore, parenting anxiety partially mediated the relationship between performance goal orientation and achievement pressure, with all subfactors showing significant partial mediation. These findings suggest that parenting anxiety is a key psychological mechanism linking mothers’ performance goal orientation to achievement pressure.
