초등학교 고학년 학생의 부모애착과 배려의 관계에서 자존감의 매개효과 = The Mediating Effect of Self-Esteem on the Relationship between Parents Attachment and Care inUpper Grade Elementary School Children

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study was to investigate the mediating effect of self-esteem on the relationship between parents attachment and care in upper grade elementary school children. The subjects of this study were 394 students who were in the five or sixth grade in elementary school in busan. The test tools were Parents attachment, Self-Esteem and Care. We applied the procedures in Preacher and Hayes(2008) on testing multiple medication models to conduct the main data analyses. The results of this study were as follows: First, the paternal and maternal attachment had a direct influence on the care and maternal attachment were more powerful in relation to paternal attachment. Second, the paternal and maternal attachment had a direct influence on the self-esteem and maternal attachment were more powerful in relation to paternal attachment. Third, the self-esteem had a direct influence on the care. Forth, the self-esteem mediated the relationship between the paternal or maternal attachment and the care. Finally, Possible reasons for these results were identified and discussed.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 초등학교 고학년 학생의 부모애착과 배려의 관계에서 자존감의 매개효과를 알아보는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 부산시 초등학교 5, 6학년 학생 394명을 대상으로 부애착, 모애착, 자존감, 배려로 구성된 설문을 실시하였으며, Preacher와 Hayes(2008)의 분석 절차에 따라 매개효과 분석을 하였다. 그 결과, 첫째, 부애착과 모애착은 배려에 직접적으로 영향을 미쳤으며, 모애착이 부애착에 비해 상대적으로 배려에 더 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 부애착과 모애착은 자존감에 직접적으로 영향을 미쳤으며, 모애착이 부애착에 비해 상대적으로 자존감에 더 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 자존감은 배려에 직접적으로 영향을 미쳤다. 넷째, 부애착과 모애착은 자존감을 매개로 하여 배려에 유의미한 영향을 미쳤다. 마지막으로 이 같은 결과가 의미하는 바와 함께 본 연구의 시사점과 제한점에 대해 논의하였다.
