A microcomputer-aided measurement system and an instruction program were developed for the computer-aided instruction of thermal factors and indices. Automatic measurement system was consisted of an IBM PC-XT compatible microcomputer, a 12 bit A/D converter and sensors. Thermistors were used for the measurement of air temperature, relative humidity and heat radiation. An analog-type hot wire anemometer interfaced to A/D converter with a signal processor was used for the measurement of air velocity. A BASIC program was developed and efficiently used for the measurement and instruction of thermal factors and indices.
