한국판 초등학생 읽기 태도 검사 도구의 타당도 검증 = A Study of Validity of Korean Elementary Reading Attitude Survey

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구의 목적은 초등학생들의 읽기 태도를 측정하는 데 가장 광범위하게 사용되고 있는 한국판 초등학생 읽기 태도 검사 도구의 구인 타당도를 확인적 요인분석 방법을 적용하여 검증하는 데 있다.
분석 결과에 따르면, 여가 및 학습을 위한 읽기 태도의 개별 모형 및 전체 모형 적합도는 다수의 적합도 지수를 고려할 때 수용할 만한 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 수정 지수는 여가 및 학습을 위한 읽기 태도의 개별 모형과 전체 모형의 개선을 시사하고 있다. 수렴 및 판별 타당도 분석에 따르면, 여가 및 학습 태도를 측정하기 위해 구성된 문항들 사이의 상관관계 및 구인에 적재된 표준화 요인 부하량이 높지 않아 수렴 타당도가 낮은 것으로 나타났으며, 두 하위 구인 간의 높은 상관관계로 인해 판별 타당도 또한 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 종합하면, 한국판 초등학생 읽기 태도 검사 도구가 가정하고 있는 읽기 태도에 대한 2요인 모델의 전반적인 검토가 요구된다.

Based on confirmatory factor analysis, this study investigated construct validity of Korean Elementary Reading Attitude Survey, which has been widely used to measure elementary students' attitude toward reading,
According to the results, individual models for leisure reading attitude and academic reading attitude as well as a whole model for reading attitude provided a somewhat good description of the data respectively, concerning several fit indices such as RMR and CFI. However modification indices suggested that the models should be modified. With regard to convergent and discriminant validity of the constructs, convergent validity of the model was somewhat low because relationship among the sub items and the standardized factor loading of sub items loaded to each construct were not high. Additionally, high correlation between the constructs resulted in low discriminant validity of the model. In order to fit the data better, two constructs that the model assumed may be reconsidered.
