본 연구는 초등학교 교육현장에서 어머니들의 자녀에 대한 기대심리와 아동들이 지니고 있는 실제 수준에 대한 기초조사를 바탕으로하여 지각된 영재와 측정된 영재의 창의성 발달 정도에 대한 차이를 분석하고자 하였다. 연구 결과 창의성의 발달 정도는 어머니에 의해 지각되고 측정된 영재, 지각된 영재이면서 측정된 평재, 지각된 평재이나 측정된 영재 집단의 순으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 결과는 지적 영재의 측정된 지능보다는 어머니가 자녀를 영재로 지각하여 아동에 대한 신뢰와 동기를 강화함에 따라 창의성도 발달하고 있음을 나타내준다.

The purpose of this study is what parents recognize the property of a genius of their children and this analysis offers basic data for development of the talent education through the comparative analysis on the development of the creativity.
The hypothesis to attain a purpose of above study is like this.
First, there is probably not the difference between the creativity of a perceived and measured genius group and the creativity of the group of ordinary children.
Second, the creativity of the group of the perceived genius or the measured ordinary children is more higher than that of perceived ordinary children and measured genius.
Third, the creativity of the group of perceived and measured genius is probably higher than that of perceived ordinary children or measured genius.
I have a sample survey of seventy-two among fourth grade in an elementary school as an object for this study and the instrument for study is a question sheet for mother, an intelligence test for children and a creativity test.
This study gets the mean and the standard variation through the creativity test and the conclusion to t-verify the difference is like this.
First, there is the difference between the creativity of the group of a perceived and measured genius and the creativity of the group of ordinary children or the perceived genius.
Mother’s perception of a genius property about her children previews to help the development of the creativity in the light of the intelligent difference when we think the difference of the intelligence between two groups.
Second, the creativity of the group of the perceived genius or the measured ordinary children is more higher than that of perceived ordinary children and measured genius but there is no similar difference.
It is meaningful that the creativity of the occasion to perceive a ordinary person as a genius is 4.98 higher than that to perceive a real genius as a ordinary person.
Third, what the creativity of the group of perceived and measured genius is 10.1 higher than that of perceived ordinary children or measured genius shows the meaningful difference between two groups.
This conclusion shows that the creativity of development of children has a big difference according to parents’ perceived level of a genius property about their children.
The conclusion through this analysis is like this.
Parents’ perception of a genius property about their children serves as the development of the creativity for their children and the development of the creativity has some relations with intelligence but hasn’t absolute correlation.
