In a highly competitive market because of short product life cycles, various customer requirements, increasing variation of extended supply chains, just-in-time supply request, and high interest in sustainability, agility capability is a key competitive factor for logistics companies. The objective of this study is to empirically find that sustainability can be achieved with high supply chain performance by improving agility capability based on the analysis of sequential relationships of one construct to the next in the following order: agility driver, agility capability, supply chain performance, and sustainability. A total of 800 research questionnaires were distributed to 800 logistics companies for data collection and only 128 eligible questionnaires were used for data analysis after excluding 19 insufficient responses. We employed path analysis by using Smart PLS 2.0. Research results indicated that the perceptions of agility drivers play a critical role in improving the agility capability of logistic companies. Moreover, research findings, like manufacturing companies, implied the agility capability of logistics companies positively affects supply chain performance, and supply chain performance positively impacts on sustainability.
